I dirve a shaft better than a belt in Stock racing...Not a big secret...
The BD is a fantastic car in stock but I drive the LCG better in slow speeds..
Do you need me to do a comparison in 19T... I will tell you right off the BD will spank my LCG...the BD can carry more speed into corners with a faster motor.
With a Mod the BD is awesome...Just I'm not that great at driving at that rate of speed.
I love both of my Yoks wouldn't give either of them up.
But if I had one choice for stock motor racing it would be the SD LCG.

Man, you making the decision alot harder for me. I'll be racing 19t and maybe mod in club racing, but stock at the Nats.
LCG vs. BD
Sounds like either way: I win

... i like your analogy ...
we run mostly modified... only in the rare big races where stock is our only option, do we run stock, but im still considering, whether to get the LCG or just run my JRX's...

No, they are made of steel. But I use the Tobee dogbones... they work as well.
The LCG went very good on carpet on wednesday... it was amazing. I was 2-3 tenths faster then I ever was with my CGM... Now the CGM will be for playing with foams.
Cheers
Chris

I'm using rubber tires. I think from next year on we will use foams... at least in mod...
My setup:
front:
oneway
no swaybar
springs: orange
oil: 40 wt
piston: #2
damperstay: innerst hole
a-arm: middle hole
ride height: 5mm
droop: 6mm
rollcenter: 1mm under the ballstud on the bulkhead
rear:
no swaybar
springs: green
40wt oil
piston #2
damperstay: outest hole
a-arm: outest hole
3 degree toe-in
ride height: 5.5mm
droop: 5mm
rollcenter: no spacer anywhere
body: Mazda 6
tires: Sorex 28
insert: JB blue
I think that's all. This setup ist for a high traction carpet track.
Cheers

Wow!! The steering rack is all blue alloy! nice extra over the plastic one in the prototype photos...you re a lucky person!!
I really love that lowered upper deck, what is the part number of those blue alloy washers you used under the 2 screws over the steering rack on the upper deck??
I ve been looking for those for my SDW..
Thanks! And good racing with your LCG, should be a killer!

thanks, it is a nice car,
i got the washers off ebay but they say they are made by jet racing on the packet, i intend to use them on the top deck completely when i get some longer screws. and on the shock towers when i make them.
there was one problem with the instructions where it says what screws to use to hold down the steering rack, it has a picture of a screw and says ' 3 x 8 mm flanged bearing' that confused me for abit.

even though the lcg is quite expensice its also quite cheap for me aswell compared to usa:
lcg $239 ----> £131
but a bd bought from the uk is about £300 so it would be -------> $540!!!!
