Johnbull your Yokes still doing well for you? I'm pretty sure they are. I'm looking to get another SD in the next few weeks. Not sure if I want the CGM or the SD Double deck graphite. Need to look into that some.

I don't read Japanese and therefore can't find the results. And I would love to read a write up.

Well done Masami.

Didn't take Surikarn too long to get used to the HPI.
Go to http://babelfish.altavista.com/ type in website and change the language from Japanese to English. Most of it should be then translated for you.

Hi Brian.

I thought you had gone over to Goldfish for good.

As a matter of fact your comment came at just the right time. I have just returned to the shop from the track, to put my bits and pieces away, with my best result this season. I won in a class sponsored by the local GOLDFISH importers, so I wasn't very popular as you can imagine. It's a control motor 23 turn class - good competitive racing.

Started 4th on the grid but was 1st by the end of lap 1, and just stayed there. Fastest lap of the race too. With 3 of 10 rounds gone it puts me 3rd in the championship. I'm quite a chuffed oldman this evening !

More reason to be chuffed. Son Josh won the first 2 of the 3 A mains in Mod and finished 2nd in the 3rd. He anihilated the lap record which stood at 18 seconds dead. Best lap was 17.65 but he also had the best 10 laps in 2 of the 3 mains. He was the only runner doing 17s. Nobody else managed a single 17 second lap, yet he had more than a dozen. It's probably his last meeting with the TC3. I hope to get the time to build and test his TC4 before the next meeting in 3 weeks time.

Yes, that CGM really is very good. And the nice thing is that it's always good. None of this business of it tweeking. Just always consistant.

It's a great car. Welcome back to Yokomos.

And Masami doesn't do so badly with them either, does he ?

Thanks John. I think a Yoke will be my 2nd car. It might be nice to have two cars around. I will look for a CGM in the near future unless I get a nice deal on a standard SD.
