we built one about a month or so ago and let everyone know what we thought about it. You can do a search on the thread and see what Mo had to say about the car. It went together very well with no problems. I will give yokomo that. Mo or Matt will be able to answer most of your questions.

Default Tire clearance

For those of you that have the car:

Do Jaco foam tires (28mm) or TRC foam tires (26mm) fit without problems? I remeber on my old MR4TC-Pro we had to cut the wheels down on a little on the Jaco's and the TRC's would almost fit without any mods....

Thanks!

A friend of mine runs an mr4tc and says he cannot run small diameter foams on it. He runs out of suspension adjustment.

On my TC3 i can run them from 63mm down to 53mm and lower. Any ideas if this new car can run foams to the rims?

Yes. I always run one-ways on all my cars.

I know about ride hieght, but will they fit??? They would hit hubs and shocks, etc.... The ride hieght issue will not be an issue on this car as it has droop screws now and different shocks. Although there is a fix on the old car with different shock ends..

I just want to know if Jaco or TRC foam tires bolt up without rubbing anything.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that we should have parts for the car by the end of the week. I got the fax of my invoices from Yokomo to verify this. Sorry, no one-ways as they are on back order.

Don't you hate it when you type up a long response and all when all of a sudden you computer reboots!! Mannn that sucks.......

Well in brief... ran the SD with Novak Brushless... it was fun and cool. Can't wait for my other SD to arrive this Wednesday.

THeGame, I run at Durham, NC with my SD. Just looking for a setup right now. If you will be at the Nats this summer, look me up under the Mindblown Banner. I'm known as Jimmy Mac around here.

As for parts from TC3 that might fit... no arms, no hubs or carriers. I thought about them when I broke my SD arm last week. The hinge pins are different sizes for these cars. Only thing that might fit are ball cups??? And the TC3 diff gear is strangely and very very close to the size of the SD diff gear. Blah blah blah

Upper arm set I think is the turnbuckles and ball cups. Just compare the Stock number with the number in the exploded view of the SD.

Blah blah blah.. gotta go.... burp... haha

Cool

THeGame,

I live in San Diego. I don't know Andrew Gray. I'm just a street basher for now. I haven't made it to the races yet. Waiting for Futureal to build us a kick-azz onroad track in San Diego!
