Just installed a new Team Bomber Carbon Graphite Center Shaft, it weighs about 1/2 of the stock shaft. Looks pretty nice too.

Thanks
It is a Japanese site so you have to use the overseas ship area. They are a little slow, when ordering, mostly my fault, first time ordering from them. The shipping was fast, product came in less than a week.

Default INFORMATION

Hi Guys,

RE: Harden Front Universal Drivshafts for Yokomo MR-4TC Touring Car.

I have been considering trying the below universal in my SD, wondering has anyone tried them before, do they make the drive train any more free.

I have also heard that you need to grind the balls down, is this true and by how much.

Also you can buy fronts and rears, do you need to buy fronts and rears for the SD also

Cheers Brad

Brad,
If you read back in the form there is a bunch of stuff on these universals. But they work very well. You do have to grind the ends a little bit to keep it from binding in the outdrive. But I don't know about making the drivetrain smoother. There are some other things you should be looking at to get the drivetrain smoother ie, diffs, bearings.
Hope that helps

Default Noise Clamps

Ok where would you put these? Where would you need to reduce noise? From the Precision R/C site.

They are used to cut down ambient electronic "noise," less glitching.

Isaac, just go to page 289 and look at my 2nd post. I have a picture attached there of my car. You'll see I have 2 of those filters on the car. I don't really glitch much. Because of the filters? I dunno. But if anything, it also adds weight to the car to make it legal at 53oz.
