RC - BAM. Cut the rough shape with a fret saw. You'll break a few blades in the process but they're cheap enough. For the battery and motor holes drill a series of holes close to each other to slightly less than the hole size you require, then play with a square file.

PORTER. The dog bones are the normal Yokomo alloy ones. Since I fitted those rubber boots on the CV joint ends, front and rear, which keep the joints well greased, wear has become minimal and I haven't replaced a drive shaft in 6 months, even using 7 and 8 turn motors on a track with lots of grip.

HORATIO. You seem to have been in this game as long as I have. Yes those wide touring cars were fun indeed. I still have both mine. My son's car was based on the Schumacher CAT, and mine was based on the Yokomo YZ10. I look back at them every now and again and wonder at all the work I had put into them. But it's great fun. Pity we don't use them any more.

If you log onto the TC3 thread here in rctech you can see a couple of pics of son Josh's championship winning TC3s. I posted them yesterday. I've done a bit of work on those too.

I running on asphalt...

I can't seem to get 4mm of droop in the rear of my car. I have tried screwing out the shock end some that didn't seem to work. So I tried unscrewing the rear a arms alittle bit that didn't seem to work...

Any help would be nice...

Are the rear stock shock ends longer? I know the front shock ends are longer?

Yokomo gives you two shock ends, one long and one short. Run the long ones in the rear if your having problems getting the right droop setting.

As Matt said, there are short and long ends that come with the car. We run the short shock ends both front and rear.
We have 6mm of droop in front and 5mm of droop in rear.

I saw the yours guys track on your website. Do both primarly run asphalt...Do u both race carpet at your home track?

Which servo horn u using?

What a good digital servo onroad racing? I had a JR 4750 motor go out or something opened up everything looks good. Could find the problem.

We both run carpet during the winter months at stockton r/c raceway in the stockton california fairgrounds. I ran both mod foam and 19T rubber with my CGM and lil'Alex (pops' kid) ran 19T rubber and stock. I've been using the stock CGM servo saver with no problems, it seems stiff enough but still give alittle if you hit something. I run all KO stuff and I run their digital servo but I don't remember what the # was. I would look at my car but it's on it's way overseas

KO 2143 digital servo, very fast and bulletproof. Stock springloaded servo horn, is as, Matt said.

Did you look at the end point adjustment on your radio? That could be making the sound you hear when you turn the wheel hard left or right. If your not sure, have someone else look at it.
