They used to make a tool back when they used to race dirt oval sprint cars to straighten out bent dogbones but its not worth it, that thing is a pretzel.

Yeah, I was riding the straight too low, and a corner dot had gotten knocked out a few inches, I hit it and slid into the concrete wall at SoCal.

I have some more pics for you guys coming soon, on a more positive note

randman i talked to Victor from warpspeed. And i had sent him my yokomo to make a new chassis I was going with the same idea with milling the chassis out for the gear box's and motor plate. Victor told me that doing that is not good for the chassis will still flex he also told me that when you break the top layer of graphite to mill out its not good for the chassis. I now have a new 3mm and top deck 3mm with the new graphite gear boxs and the top deck holds in graphite this baby is a ROCK!!!!!!!! no flex in this chassis

I've done it in the past with no problems, I have my car built for carpet right now, and there is very little flex now. I'll have some pics later tonight, just gotta get the ride height fixed... gonna have to use the short shock ends.

brings back memories of my old MR4TC driveshaft, just as bent. i caught the right hand side of my custom on the corner of a solid brick wall, broke:

Driveshaft (bent more than could be straightend)
Carbon Fibre Front bumper brace
Titanium reinforced Carbon Fibre shock tower (smashed to bits shocker swinging around when i tried to get to the end of the race )
2 turnbukles
wheel hub
and i also bent a hinge pin on the wishbone.

it was a mess and i stay well away from that wall now. with my SD
