Associated ball cups are $5 for 14, and it takes me all season to wear mine out. But if you insist, you can get the shock end hardware from X-ray that a lot of people use (appearantly). You'll wind up installing a long set screw where the ball stud mounts, and the captured ball in the shock end screws down onto it...
good luck.
good luck.

du-bro makes a quick release ball end. Ask the airplane guys/shops.

That way you can do two cars...or sell them to your buddy.
When you install the ball onto the shock end make sure you install the ball onto the shiny side or you get binding issues.
Hope that helps,

I like to use Sullivan RC products "removable ball link" on my twelves!
With a 'lil modification they'll last for many years.
They are sold as a package with the new ball stud.
(they are used on airplanes linkages)
