Joe, that's funny.... I was just going to say the same thing. In fact, I bet Bruce from Speedmerchant just phoned Bob up, asking him to ship the car out for some r&d studies.
I wish that I would have kept some of the old stuff. I know that I was so happy to upgrade at the time that the old stuff just got pitched or given away. It would fun to trip down memory lane by actually handling a piece of the past. Mike Ellis has just such a collection, starting from the days of gold tubs and dog fighters.
There will always be room in my heart for a "green machine".
That crazy creation was based around the concept of removing the motor weigth from the pod. OR at least tricking the car into thinking the motor wasn't back there. All the pivots line up with the motor's center of gravity. The car was wicked fast in quick transitions, but suffered many other accelerational issues that could never be overcome. And yea, the one piece pod took over 80 hours to carve out. The HPI Roadstar double A-arm front end was trimmed down and braced for 12th scale use. It was awesome in the bumps or for racing on a corse with dots. I used serval titanium parts on it, but it was still a little on the heavy side.

Hi guys, I thought I'd put a few pics of my cars from the last few seasons. Amongst them are a CEFX C12, a Hara Hammer 12, a Corally SP12X, Trinity Black Widow and a Team Laje SpeedEvil 2007. The bodyshells were sprayed by Lynn Munno who I met during a race meeting in Florida a couple of years back. Anyway, have a look! Cheers, Chris.
