Hi guys, just wanted to post a couple of pics of my new car and let you know some of its features. (The SP12X is a little too brittle for my liking so had to go!) The new car is called a SpeedEvil 2007 from a Swedish company (hence the blue and gold anodising) called Team Laje. The front end is similar to the older Trinity front end but as anyone who has tried to use it knows, both turnbuckles affected eachother making life a bit of a pain. This front end uses a third turnbuckle to overcome that problem. There is a slot behind the servo so that the back end of it sits into the chassis, lowering the whole servo (have n’t seen that done before). The chassis is milled out below the T-bar to lower the roll centre. Only one pivot ball on the T-bar, the front one is replaced by a plate that takes care of chassis tweaking. This can be turned 180 degrees to adjust the side to side stiffness of the T-bar (again, have n’t seen that before). Various other features including ceramic bearings and diff balls, etc. Really nice bit of kit! Look forward to running it soon! All the best, Chris.
