Hmmm. It's the track that the tires should match. Carpet and carpet are two different things...

Simply use the same tire/insert combo as the fastest guys at the track.

First you have to tell us what car you have, then you have to tell us what carpet your run on, is it ozite? Then I might be able to start helping you out with some of your questions and setup tips. Your question is too broad, give us some more details

Come on Favian.... he didn't give enough details?? Err.. nope...

Are you talking rubber tires?? If so try Sorex 20/24 with Yoke thin medium inserts

If you are talking about foams - try starting with plaids up front and purples in the rear

go to your track nad ask the fast guys what they are running, and run those same tires.

I can give you a Good Starting point for a Barracuda for Carpet..

Tires.. I would use a Sorex 24R
Insert... HPI Red..
Oil..... Yokomo 550 rear and 600 front
Springs...HPI Gray 27mm or Pink 27mm
as for Oneways... I would use a front spool or Diff in the front..!!...dont use the the One way on Carpet with a Barracuda ....
Toe ...front 0 rear 2.1~2.5-
Camber -1 front -1 rear
also I would use a .5mm shim under the rear hex balls in the front and rear
..
Ride height and droop you will have to set one self.. (track buy track)

Hope this helps..
