Yep where the coupler meets the clamp, Is where the round shims go. They also have spacers that go under the clamp between the chassis and clamp..they are long and skinny.

Congratulations to Eli Ezrow and Mike McBride. Eli is the 2009 ROAR Carpet Stock Sedan National Champion. Mike McBride was the TQ of the same class finishing in a tie for first with Eli. The championship was decided by a mere tenth of a second. Both of these fantastic drivers were piloting Corally RDX Phi's. Hopefully these guys can get their setups posted on here as well as on the Corally USA site. Great job to both of these Corally drivers and to all of the Corally drivers that attended this years ROAR Carpet Nationals!

Thanks Brad, if needed I can post my set-up. I looked at Mike McBrides car and everyone probably won't believe it, but both our set-ups are almost completely opposite!!! I was using low roll centers and Mike was using high roll centers. Both our cars were really good however, probably our different driving styles.

Hi Guys,

I have just tried the super short wheel base using 36t pulley front and rear with the Tamiya 415 efficiency belt. The problem I am finding is that the car is no where near as efficient as the standard pulley and belt set up.

Does anyone know how to get the belts looser by perhaps different diff holders or centre pulley/belt combo's. I have already tried stretching the rear belt and soaking it as well.

Mine loosened up after a couple days of running. What motor are you running?

Use 79703/79703 bearing blocks and 77137 rear belt. Dialed!

27 turn stock and I have run 10.5 motor in it for 5 heats and still not freeing up. I am comparing it to the standard PHI driveline which is super free and this is so much tighter than that.

Once your front belt get worn in, you may have to run the belt tensioner with about 5-7mm shins undernieth.

I have to say I was amazed at how many phi's there were at the nats, I'd have to guess at least 70% of the tc's there were a corally. Here is the setup I ended up with, I'm sure it could use a little work, but for me, the less than perfect driver, it was good. I was able to hit some good hotlaps only a few tenths off the amain guys, but they can do 10 of them

There were a few different setups going around, I didn't want to try it halfway through qualifying but those cars looked good.

I dont want to act like this is a dumb question, but i know the norms of shock oil are usually 60,40. I noticed that your running 35 I'm the rear, and i have seen that with some others lately as well. What does that all do when you soften the rear up? More on-power steering? Thanks
