It depends on whether or not it will fit in the outdrive with the bearing, spacer, and diff nut. The Corally red thrust washer fits perfect with a cone washer on top.

i have had my diffs built with a 12th scale rear axle shim and then a thrust washer for a spacer.everything fits perfect and works great.i dont think theres room to use the bmi spacer.dont worry about the 12th scale axle shim hanging up or catching on the threads because is spins with the diff half with the threads against the flanged bearing.

it's not a problem with the thrust bearings/carbide or cage. it's just that we need new washers. the others when running mod just get scared up real quick
I will send you 2 to test along with some ceramic balls to rebuild your diff's.. I should be out there to race with you guys in a couple weeks, got a big offroad race locally that Kinwald is coming too so I am prepping for that.

Got the (should I dare say it in this thread) xray ready to race

On the new diff's we have been having better luck using a drop of CA glue to lock the diff nut and keep it from backing off. but the thrust bearing just go to S#@t and get all scared up. Then they are just crunchy and feel like hell. (at least running mod they do... I would think stock and or 19T is not as bad......
BTW your sons car you let me borrow when Dayger came up has those thrusts in it.

With lipos being legal for ROAR racing and all these companies coming out with lipo batteries that don't fit in the PHI, what is Corally going to do? Seems the only battery that really fits in the PHI is the 3200/3600 Orion pack. Is that correct?

Since Corally isn't a US company, maybe they'll continue to hide behind that "LiPo is for bashers" B.S. while everybody else passes them by. That was the attitude back in the day, anyway.

The Orian 3600 fits very nicely into my Phi. Just dremel away one insert on the under side of the top deck.

From the dimensions it looks like the MaxAmps 5000 will fit even better than the Orion 3200. With the hardcase the dimensions are 1mm greater in each direction than what is listed on the site. Its also 30gm heavier.

5000mah Capacity
7.4 Volts
45mm X 138mm X 18mm (so 46x139x19 with hardcase)
225 grams

I may pick one of these up to try it. If I do I will post here.

We are switching to the Max amps for more run time. It fits much better than the Orion 3200/3600. Max amp also has a cell equalizer where Orion just can not seem to put one together. I know cause I had one on order from them for a couple months. They claim they are not releasing it yet.

There's a revised diff nut that came out a month or so ago.... It has a finer thread pitch. If you're trying to thread that onto an old style diff, I would imagine you would have those troubles.
