Hey Guys... I always run 5 front arms and 80 rear arms for hardness... This seems to be the best suit for Foam... For Rubber tires try running 5 front and rear . This is what i used in vegas for Rubbers....

Man alive, it's taken me for ever to discover # 5 arms. The rate I was going on replacement arms would have done wonders to Corally stock holders, so I apologize for a lessened dividend now I know #5 is the answer. (I used to think it was 42 !!)

Mike,

I only run TC Stock Rubber BL these days. Was using the 35 arms on all of my RDXs; but, now have 5 arms on the new Phi as recommended by Jeff and Rob.

Do you feel a handling difference between the 35s and the 5s? Or, is a durability thing?

Thanks.

The softer arms adds more mechanical grip to the car. Which is why you see soft arms in the front and stiff arms in the rear for foam tire carpet, and soft arms front and rear for any type of rubber tire racing.

The more mechanical grip you put in the car for rubber tire racing, the better the tires finish the run. Same reason we typically use softer chassis and topdeck to take the load off the tires so they do not overheat and lose traction.

Still Bill...

What jeff said was correct.. If you have way to much grip then you might want to go up to 35's in the rear and leave the fronts at 5's... or balance the car with both 35's

I have played with this a bunch and it is a pretty big difference and a nice tool to work with to get the handling just perfect...

What spur gear comes with the kit and what is the largest gear you can use with a rear sway bar? Thanks.
