Thanks

Start with Nelson's Novak setup, throw a spool in and it should be really good. Once the bite comes up, the one-way seems to work, but when bite is low, the spool gets me into the turns much better.

Default Alum Steering Blocks

Anyone having problems with the aluminiun steering blocks binding up with the c-hubs? I bought the steering blocks with the bushing instead of the bearings.

Mine were pretty snug as well. I just took a light file to the C-hubs and they're fine. You don't need to take off much at all. NO Dremel .

My kit arrived yesterday and i am still amazed by the quality. Nice and easy to work on and very light! Just one question, have the shocks changed at all from the RDX kit? I spent a while building the shocks on the last kit with tamiya pistons.. Just wondered if I would be missing something out if I swap the shocks over from RDX to phi ?

Thanks.

Mike's car had the 2006 COMP SPEC chassis and CENTER POINT TOPDECK on the car, which makes the original RDX, the same as the PHI. It moves the batteries back and changes the steering.

Jeff
You mentioned the batteries are moved back,is the car more evenly balanced now? I have an RDX and the best balance I could come up with is 53.2% on the front and 46.5% on the rear.

Guy the batteries being moved back help the car to rotate more.... Its a very noticable change and a very good one. Cuffs when he ran for corally had a carpet foam tire chassis he used and had the batteries moved back on it.

Myself and some other guys have luck with Associated Stealth lube on the main rings and balls, then Associated Black Grease on the thrust.

Thanks for the info,I'm trying to decide whether to but the PHI.I really like my RDX but there are a few areas where it could be improved.

If you like your RDX you will love the PHI.

Thanks - Brad
