New Rollout Calculator and Setup Tracking
I've written (for my own use) a rollout calculator for the Windows Mobile v5 platform to satisfy the requirement of a piece of software to be written for a Microsoft Partner program I'm part of. It's still evolving but as of right now it's fully functional.
Main features (see screenshots below)
- Stores setup info for each car
- Each car can have multiple setups
- Each car will calculate rollout for each setup
- Data will be saved to a local (on device) database
Pricing is as follows:
- $15 for the basic app
- $25 for 2 years free upgrades
PM me with suggestions as this product will be continuing to evolve as people's requests come in.
Moderators: If this is considered a commercial post please let me know about pricing.

The UI looks good.
Consider -
-Lap counter that can be assigned to specific setups
-Results history
-Exportable to CSV

Thanks! I was going for ULTRA simple.
Yes, integration with lap counting systems/results is on the list.
Other things I've thought of:
- recordings (voice) for setup ideas or comments
- syncronization with a web or windows app for data entry, or just as another view
- beaming (bluetooth, IRDA) of setups

Free actually, it's the Windows Mobile SDK (it's an emulator).
Personally, I use the PPC-6700 from Sprint

I've owned a dozen or so handheld devices over the years and this is by far the best I've ever owned.

very interesting and useful..No doubt... wish there would be a palm version
It could be good to have another option with suggestions as to what setup to move to, ie for instance :
select "car understeers" would give you several options (less rear toe in, change to softer springs etc..)

I've thought also about doing setup tips. I may be incorporating that in.
It should support multiple screen sizes. on my 6700 it moves from landscape to portrait mode without an issue, I'll be testing all the versions of the emulator I can before releasing it.

A stopwatch/lap timer would be great in this software.
have it write to excel if possable. that way we could best lap/avg lap it.

Sony Ericsson p910i
I'm using a Sony Ericsson P910i running UIQ.
Can you look into a UIQ version of the software?
What I am particularly interested in is somewhere to store race results and export this to a database or excel file. Things like best lap, run time etc etc. Not neccesarily an interface with the lap counting software but definitely the abilty to store the results manually.
Currently I just write all this info on a piece of paper and promise myself that I will type it all up when I get home. Of course that never happens.

Here is the installation file and instructions. Please keep in mind that most features are disabled till the app is registered. See the Setup Instructions.txt file for more info.
