Default Peel-it Raceway ROAR paved nats - question

So the paved nats are Friday July 13 - July 15 according to ROAR web site which I am assuming is 2 qual days 1 race day? Will there be practice days ahead of that? ....we were planning on an Alaska cruise this upcoming summer and I need to tell my wife which day I need to be back in Seattle if we go before the race.

Don't know yet, probably I would fly and *hopefully* someone from this area could drive my gear to/back so that I could deal with the cruise ..that's if it comes together that way ...if not (i.e. if not tied to the vacation) ...I suppose we could drive, I could pull the milk carton and we could share "driving duties"

No way can it have more than Speedworld ....man that sounds killer, indoor asphalt, no *huge* swings in track conditions throughout the day I bet!!

How big is the track and when do they start the "asphalt season" (I'm assuming it's carpet from now till ...? ).

Oh yes it can, and does. It's called VHT.

The track is roughly 110x60, I'm sure EddieO will chim in with the exact demensions.

The carpet is down for the carpet season. My guess it will come up around May. They didn't glue it down, only stretched it over, so the asphalt is perfect underneath.

and your point? It only smelled for the first couple days afterward, since then you can't smell it at all. It's a very large building with good ventilation, we ran Paragon without any issues last race.

There is so much traction on the asphalt last time I ran 1/12 there I didn't even sauce my tires.
