VIDEO: Offroad Touring with the Tamiya TA-05

Hey everyone,

I thought you guys might like to check out what a friend and I were doing with his TA-05 down at Peel It raceway. We took his box stock TA-05, jacked the ride height, threw on some rubber tires and a 19 Turn and this was the result.

The car actually survided through four battery packs before losing a $7 shock tower!

Oh and this is the same car he was running in stock foam during the trophy race this past weekend.

That's pretty cool. I knew it was a tough car. I think of the hours of maintaining, cleaning, and setup that I do on my TA05 to keep it competitive. The thought of doing that with mine makes me sick.

Sorry Fred, the TRF Tape Mount system is only available to team drivers.

(BTW, there is no TRF tape mount ayatem before some of you rush off to google, and come on admit it, you were about to search for it! It was just something we had to use to attach the body after we sliced it in half)
