Maybe 4-cells are slower with brushed motors but with a 3,5T brushless it may be just as fast

I told him it might be best if he tested our packs after the race and then we could maybe work something out if it's possible. He told me he already tested our packs and they were very good so he wanted some for the race. I then decided to send him some packs for this race. Will he use them I'm not sure. They might be used but they may have CP stickers on them which has happened to some of our stuff before with other companies putting there stickers on our packs.

In the end it was nice to have another top driver tell us that our packs were very good. So if he uses them that is fine if he doesn't that is fine as well. If he uses them with CP stickers that isn't as cool but I can live with it as I have seen this happen before.

Danny,
After talking with Duane in length yesterday he indicated that Hara was running both packs. He did not say which packs they will use in racing. I know for sure they will not put the CP label over them if they decide to use them!! I agree with you on that, it isn't right!.

Thanks for the update. It's always good to have the real info. I'm also glad to hear that our labels would still be used if our packs are used. We have had other manufacturers drivers put labels over our packs but they had bought the packs so it isn't a big deal as they paid for them. In this case we paid for red label shipping and gave him the packs so if he runs them then it would be cool to have the credit.

Darly and Danny just said he was using both batts to try and see which one he likes better. We already know he has SMC batts with him.

And to be honest i wouldn't care the less which ones he uses , nor for it to be discussed on that thread for pages...

as predicted by many pple, masami is tq after 2 rounds of qualifying according to the mirage japan website. he's the only one to do 20 laps so far. hara is second.
marc is still trying to adapt to 4 cell racing. he's 20th after 2 rounds.

lol thats what i was thinking!

Here in Aus i've seen some awesome 23t races with 6-cells, the motors go like rockets!... but 4-cell just ruins it IMO

Ohwell...suppose we have to adapt, i'd love to have seen some footage of these guys running 6-cells with the best of the best though!

wasn't there an indoor race that used to be held each year for 23t class with all the big names???... used to be on a blue coloured carpet

sorry for my ignorance lol

cheers,

Robbie
