At last something good which actually promotes racing , not live 'fifth gear' making it out to be little kiddy toys

The show is monthly so the next edition will be up (I expect as I didn't post it) around this time next month.

Obviously all the image issues are down to the compression as the show is made in full network broadcast quality!

Hindy (John Hindhaugh) who is actually the circuit and radio commentator of the ALMS (American Lemans Series) is a good mate and did a brilliant job!

Great, I look forward to it. Anna Curtis is pretty nice to look at, but "Inside RC" leaves a lot of room for improvement when it comes to actual race coverage.
I think it is a really nice service when people post vids of the bigger races.

I thought the interview was good. I personally would have preferred if the whole on-road bit was one piece together and not split up with all the non-road parts.

Very well done show. I loved how you did the starting grid rust like a full scale race, very nice.

Just viewed the video, it may not be perfect, but it is certainly the right direction for the sport and something to build upon. After reading Derek's comments, I agree it would need to be americanized for the US viewership, but IMHO it was still very good.

Just finished watching the video. I thought it was great. Definately a first step in the right direction. I like how it split up the race coverage with the non racing stuff. Keeps you there to watch the whole show. It was great to watch the whole thing without commercials between the segments. Thanks for posting the video and please keep them coming.

Do you guys remember the "Screen Savers" on the old Tech TV channel?
If there is anything more bland and boring to represent on television, its computer technology.
What made the show great was the personalities, Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton.
They made it fun to watch and I think the production was great.
They did a great job of catering to the newbie as well as the professional.
I have always thought that having an RC show with the same style format, might actually work.
The key would be the personalities. You need somebody knowledgeable, but fun to watch as well.
Having Morgan Webb answering e-mails like on the Screen Savers woulnd't be a bad idea either!
This show was nice and a good start, but with just a voiceover, it doesn't work.

Its just like with any product, you need a good salesman to SELL the product

I thought that really sucked.

But the UK is not known for exciting television.

It needs to look more like one of those car shows you see on Spike (TNN) saturday / sunday mornings..

High End R/C Cars have a lot about them to talk about!!! no reason why an RC show should be expected to be boring and only once a month..

That is because the show goes out in 4 different languages - English, French, German and Greek - so the traditional "talking head" to introduce and compare the show just doesn't work

i thought it was pretty well done considering it was the first episode and all. i think if they went any deeper into rc technology and specifics this early, they would lose alot of the viewers. you have to remember that it may seem that there seem to be alot of people interested in watching this stuff, but thats because we're in this hobby and surrounded by people with the same interest. in the grand scheme of things television related, its still barely any viewers, so you have to compensate that with less technical stuff and more 'cool' shots of the baja5 going around that would draw in more casual tv watchers. what would be cool though, is if they had a set guideline for testing offroad cars, like a fixed jump that they would always do to see how far reviewed kits would fly, and so it would be a decent benchmark for future reviewed kits and it'd look pretty cool too. another thing they will do eventually i'm sure is introduce specific rc technology, like one week it'll be shocks, another week it could be electric motors and so on. atlesat with the once a month schedule, they could stretch that for a season or three, and with that, slowly get the tv audience more intune with rc technology.
