This my `NEW` car now ,got back in time when cars were cars instead of these fancy bling bling mantel piece show cars
camber links now on bulkhead.i find this much easier to do roll centres up front a piece of piss now
And This is What i think Of The car
takes 42`s with ease
completey well balenced left to right
i run 6 degree castor blocks
40w xray oil 3 hole front ,2 hole rear
droop front 2,rear 2 on hudy bars
BMI 350 chssis , i use this for rubber/carpet

I really don't believe all the newer cars are much ,if at all, better than the fk04. The car has superb weight balance and is built like a tank. It is also very forgiving if your set-up is not spot on. The only real draw back to the car is diff access, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad. The only reason I haven't run mine lately is because I've been working out my TA05 for TCS. I actually bought mine from a guy that wanted to get rid of it as he had just bought the then new fk05....I bought it off of him for $60 shipped. Can you believe that...Best deal in the history of deals--Al

What batteries are you racers running in your FK 04's. I am currently running 3300's from 2 seasons ago but I want (scratch that, I NEED) to get new batteries. Will the 3800's fit without modifying (or dremeling) the chassis? How about 4200's? Thanks.

all i did was dremel a bit more curviture in the battery starps post`s
with BMI chassis jason does chamfer the battery slots really well ,much better then the std xray 3.5mm chass`s
if you have std 2.5mm chassis ,then matbe a 1mm spacer under the post`s wil help aswell
i use polepositon IP cells no trub`s ,did not touch Bulkheads atall in my car
