JR Propo R-1 radio: is it good?
Hi! I'm looking forward to replacing my KoPropo EX-1 Mars radio w/ another one. Instead of getting the optional wheel extension to lower the steering wheel i'm planning to get a radio w/ a lowered steering wheel in relation to the throttle trigger. Right now my choices are between the JR R-1 and the Airtronics M-8. Hope anyone can help me. Tnx
BTW, which is better: FM or PCM? Tnx again

that is funny i just sold my jr-r1 and pcm receiver
to buy a ex-1 mars.the jr is heavy and drains the battery quick
also.i bought a ko propo ex-1 mars 2000R limited edition
model im waiting for it to come in the mail now.
the pcm is better than the fm they say ! i couldnt really tell a difference between them both.
i hope you like the jr-r1 do you want to sell your radio and is it
a 27 or 75 mhz?

Blue > I have the JR-1 and LOVE it. This radio ROCKS. When i went to go by my radio, my LHD had both on hand and i could hold them both. The M8 felt top heavy while the JR was just right.
I beleive both radios are pretty similiar and the choice may come to how it feels in your hand.

i think FM and PCM versions are equally good in performance but PCM has the added security of failsafe. you can program your throttle channel to neutral or brake in the event of signal loss.
