I have heard the motor will be totally awesome!!

I had a close look at the production samples this morning!
The speedo looks the same as the GM version, but it had an additional heatsink mounted on the side.... this speedo should run cooler than anything else
The motor looked fantastic, very exclusive
I got the same feeling now that I did when I held the V2's for the first time!!
Very nice cooling vents up front!!
When you spin the rotor shaft, it feels like a brushed motor, not at all like the LRP motors......
All I have to do know is wait for my own sample.

Here is a picture of it.

Eirik, on that pic, is the heatsink on the speedo incl? Because it makes the speedo look like the biggest speedo I've ever seen!

Jan,
As far as I know, it will be included....
On the GM version, it is available as an option.
As the heatsink is outside of the chassis you will actually have more space than f.eks the LRP/osram Speedo
And, you wont need a bunch of fans attched
What I really like is the neat wiring you can have with this one and the ease of changing wires etc.

Yes, it's sensored and you can use the Novak, Nosram, LRP motors with an adaptor cable!
However, it will work without the sensors connected as well on some motors, (w/Sintered magnets)

ohhhh, so THATS what youre supposed to do with that tamiya tab thing, use it as a transponder holder. so i guess the orion brushless motors are going to be low turn also, so novak is going to be the only company doing high turn near stock brushless motors? though with the price of brushless escs, brushless isn't really geared towards people new to the market anyways.

That heatsink may be effective, but it also limits sales. I mean not every car out there is one of those super narrow clone cars. There are some cars out there that have different chassis styles. How is that thing gonna fit in those cars?
Any car with a tub is definitely out, thats for sure!

I was crying out loud when I saw the picture ... IT`ss sensored
but I read it does also most motors whitout sensor !!!! thats good news ... the other end is that a heatsink like this sure limits sales !! off raoders will not use it like this i geus ...
other pont is that a faster motor is simply cheaper than a slow motor ... and with software you can set EVERYTHING of a brusless motor like punch, power curve, brakes, but also speed by limiting revs, so punch / revs can make a standard 19 turn like motor .....
