Servo Question...

I know there are two types of servo out there..one is analog and the other is digital.

Whats the difference between these two types of servo???

Would a digital servo work with any radio including AM radios???

analog is cheaper

analog consumes less power

digital cannot be used in an AM radio

digital is updated

analog can be used in an FM radio.

The digital servos are much more responsive, and have a greater linear feel to them. If you are going to race, then I would recommend digital. Extra cost, but well worth it.

Even if an analog and digital servo have the same torque rating, the digital has much more holding power. This, of course, takes a bit more juice from your battery, but with cells these days it's pretty trivial.

Does this mean that a digital servo wouldn't work with Futaba MJ controller???
