Unhappy Crc Carpet Knife Setup

Looking for some help with my setup.

Put on an old school front setup, shimmed the front block at about 2mm but front end still sitting about 6mm of ground clearance in front, my tires are new and I dont own a truer, also are the springs on the old school front end to go above steering block or below, below would seem to lower the chassis, but looking at it i dont see then how the suspension would work. Any help would be apprciated.

You need to true 12th front tires. Out of the packet I cut down to 45mm. Someone at your local track should have a truer.

Or just get longer screws and keep shimming..... For every 2mm you take off the tire you'll lose 1mm of ride height....

To set the front end ride height you need to buy some shims to put under the AE front end to drop the chasis down. Rear end you need to get some ride height blocks either AE or CRC. i used 20w shock oil and a medium spring.

Check out this tutorial on MArk Payne's website. It is very informative.
