All the current 1/12th scale cars out there will do fine, they all share the same components so what ever car you get it will be good. There's really no 1/12th scale car that is dominant if you look at all the big races a different 1/12th scale car won each race.hope this helps

I also hate people that list what kind of stupid cars they have and what they are running, or just have outragiously stopid looking sigs, but w/e, there kids.

I am also debating on what 12th to get.. my choices are

BMI DB12
Rev 4
CRC 3.2R

Well you got two link cars and one t-bar car. You probably need to decide between those two car types first.

Having run all 3 cars you mentioned I would recommend the BMI over the link cars for anyone new to 1/12 scale. I have found t-plate cars like the BMI to be more forgiving with a wider tuning window.

Between the CRC & rev4, I prefer the rev4 for its more secure batter retension.

The conversion is available now, as for the full kit you would have to ask Jason. You could always get the elcheap 12l4 to get your feet wet and convert to the BMI later.

You cant go wrong with the CRC Carpet Knife 3.2r. I just got it for a first time 12th scale racer and love it. Very durable, easy to maintain and looks awesome.

I am a little biased, but I think that the BMI conversion is a great choice...
