Arrow mini rs4

I recently bought a mini pro rs4, but i have problem to find a good gear ratio
I am running an old maxtec 14x3 i was using on my xxt, i always feel it lacks of punch....(the brushes had been replaced, and the com seems right)
i am using the stock 87t spur gear , what pinion gear should i use?
thanks for help

What are u trying to run gear wise? I used to run a 31-33 pinion with a 87 spur. That was with a stocker. So I would imagine a 14 wind would be around 25-28 pinion...u have to take in account the smaller wheels......so the rollout is different.

Most definately your batts....1700s would be fine....but after sitting that long they are most likely weak. I ran mine like I said with a stocker and it was easily faster than my competition sedan. So a 14 wind should make it ballistic......also check your timing on the mod......depending on what it is, I would run 15-20 timing. A good alternative could be a new Chameleon 2 based mod. That would be a killer motor for these cars, and u gear them the same as a stocker.

It's been a while..but I remember after lots of wheel time figuring out it like to be setup stiffer in the rear than the front. I ran the stock front springs on the front, but 2 or 3 steps firmer in the rear....on carpet I was running HPI purples! -1 1/2 camber all around. Make sure to switch to RPM ball cups too. And 40 wt oil. The best all around tire was the Tamiya super slicks with Tamiya hard molded insert. The next best was the Cross Agress slick....If u can still find them??The Hpi X patterns were OK, but not great.....they are more of a play tire.

That's a sweet ride! But what's the difference between the MINI and the mICRO? They look the same to me!

OH i see, Thanks! Why do they call it a MINI if it's the same size as regular 1/10 scale touring cars?

it s a chassis made for small cars, like mini coopers, polo, civics, wagon R, fiat 500..........they have a WB between 208 and 225mm and a width of 155mm
so they are really smaller than standart 1/10 chassis .

The mini is 1/10th scale - but it's smaller than a standard touring car - width is about 165mm, wheelbase is between 210-240mm
