i'd like to use an XS3 synth. radio with a novak xxl. but since the xxl is not synth. i have problems. say i have a channel 80, 75mHz rx crystal made for jr, can i just set my jr radio that is 75mhz to channel 80 and it would work?

If the crystal is 75mhz FM yes you can. If it's an 75mhz AM crystal, no you can't

it depends if the xxl is for the jr radio. this is b/c some radios operate on a positive shifht and some on a negative shift.

yeah. Novak makes 'em for different brands. I would surley get the jr.

i run the same set up.....with no problems. The only issue I ever ran into with my synthesized radio was with automatic set up escs.....the lrp ai runner....it did not play well with my JR. I use xxl, rs133, rs135, rs300, rs310 rxs with my JR.
