Gee, that's odd, I only got 20oz at Snowbirds last year. I got ripped off.

Anyhow... Back on topic.

I'm sure many people would like to know this but this is a private financial matter that is only the business of the individual and the company they are employed by. I'm sure they don't want the general public knowing their income. Most "factory pros" are employed by one of their sponsors as a full time employee, the racing is secondary. I'm sure these individuals would appreciate the respect that any other person receives regarding their financial matters.

I have heard of some factory drivers as high as - the low seven figures. You have to underestand these guys are the elite of the elite. Think of F1 drivers and how they are compensated, compared to say a midget driver. Normal, lowly, club racers are the midget racers of the RC world.

Your kidding right? I know for a fact it's nowhere remotely (bad pun I know) close to seven figures.

Again, we are talking about the elite of the elite. Not all of it is necessarily from direct salary. Some is bonuses, some is royalties, some is endorsements. I am talking total compensation.

So am I. I'm not sure where you received this information, but it is completely inaccurate. I'm just saying that you received un-real figures for these guys salaries.

It seems that I make in the range of -500 a month. Seems counterproductive. Didn't read the whole contract.

Maybe you are paying or getting paid unreal figures, my friend. Its probably also why kyosho and losi dont have any world class talent left on the teams.

They race midgets? That would be sweet. Though I think they preferred to be called "little people" or "vertically challenged."
