Default Best Way to Charge IB4200s??

Hi guys,

what is the best way to charge & discharge IB4200s?
What is the safest amperage to charge the cells and also and when i discharge do i go down ot 0.9 volts or something else.

6A will work for 4200's. If you want a little more punch, you can use 6.5A or 7A, but you will loose some runtime.

As for discharge, .9 is the correct cut off for 4200's.

Default Instructions

If you're running SMC batteries, they come with an instruction sheet in the box. These instructions may not be the absolute last word in how to charge the batteries, but I'd bet they aren't very far off. Chances are, SMC knows a bit about how to care for their batteries. Thanks; Ernie P.
