It Depends on what motor you run, Komodo’s like a low roll out so 29-34 should work, dynasty’s and quad mags and those types of motors that you can gear to the moon you will need higher teeth pinions 34-40, I would get a set from 29 to 40 that way your covered.

I will be running a Cobalt 27 from Putnam. I ran some gear ratio charts w/1.7 transmission ratio & 114 spur. What final gear ratio range is a good starting point. Don't want to purchase 10 pinions and only need 3 to 4.

Hi all,
I'm proud to present you our new products for all XRAY drivers. A new spool and diff out drives from "Pat Jasmin Products".
Here are pics of them on www.rcinfos.com (http://www.rcinfos.com/2006/2006_12_...ined_parts.php)
Our spools has been tested by several drivers and the results are very very good adjustement in the car and no wear. The spool and the diff outdrives are made in aluminium with high quality delrin outdrives.
I use the diff for the first time at the GP World Carpet Cup in Switzerland and all I can say is that this parts is really very good.
The particularity of these parts is that we don't use blades anymore so it is very economic.
For more information (pricing,shipping...), you can PM.
All feedback or comments will be appreciated as we always want to improve our products.

I will take some pics of the diff on my car this weekend. This diff is a really strong. I run it all the GP World Cup in Swizerland and na wear at all after 20packs in mod with it.
We also make a spool to be used with tamiya CVD's.

Hey all. I'm new, so I'm just using the pros' posted setups. I'm running Mod and Stock on a small carpet/foam track. Right now I'm very happy with Barry Baker's Cleveland Mod setup, and Travis S's Stock IIC setup. If anyone else is in a similar situation, I recommend trying these setups.
