I have them in my big nitro heli!!!! lol They are good servos. I have a Futaba s9550 in my 007 right now. Think of the 9451 as the standard size version of the 9550.. with a little bit better performance.

Hey Korey, so why do you use the s9550 if the s9451 performs a little better? I can get either one, I just wanted to know if there is any advantage to the s9550

You mean the Solid OneWay? According to the Setup Book it is best used on med-high grip tracks, where braking for corners is not required, it will give good off power steering. I used this for a practice session, I really liked how it feels, but the corners at our track were a little too tight, and I lost too much speed, I think it would werk great on a large sweeping course

I use the KO Low Profile and still don't use all of the power or travel it can put out...
I doubt most really use 100% EPA....
Well at least with the 007 and a real nice setup, I found that I have too much steering so I use less steering input which increases corner speed. Also the Low profile servos weigh less so you can reduce your total car weight...and if your under weight you can add weight where you really would want it which is near the center of the car, not hanging out the side..

The 9550 and the 9451 feel the same on the track to me. Both are killer deals for good performing digital servos too. The 9550 is a low profile servo though. It's kinda cool since I think it's a little lighter, and also gives a little more room for like a transponder or something. I think Paulie and Barry run them too .

After losing last week's race to terrible weather, I finally got to run the Speed6 tonight. It's bloody awesome! With Korey's setup, the car was simply dialed. I have no idea how to make it better. It transitions very well, even through the very sharp ones, has great onpower, offpower, and midcorner steering. It's very easy to drive, and very fast around the track.

Where to go from here???

You can try... blue-green springs... and gold swaybars. That makes transitions even a little faster
