I'm thinking about upgrading one of my T2s to a 007 EU. Is it worth the money and why? I only run on asphalt. Any input would be appreciated.

Interesting.......I was even thinking of using a spool one of these days to try it out. My JRXS ran decent with a spool in it.

In Europe on carpet with rubber tires the spool is the most popular lately. Its easier to drive than the one-way and still you have breaks. For some reason nobody use front diffs anymore. I guess they need to rediscover it

...I may be lame ....but I can't seem to find any factory guy asphalt setups for the 007 on Xray's site (like a Paul L one or something), our first asphalt race for the season is next weekend ...and I need to change my carpet rubber setup to an asphalt setup.

That's correct. From the moment of the introduction (Oct. 2006) until now it's indoor all over.

I had a change to test the T2'007 outdoor and found that my setup from my T2 was a good starting point.

So if you search for T2 and "Joep" you'll find a lot of T2 setups.

Good luck with it

http://forum.teamxray.com/xsheets-search.php

In the Search Query section select the 007
In the Search Options section check the "yes" for the Team Drivers (bottom right corner)

Hit the search button

If you also check the "Featured Set-ups" in the Search Option section then you will get the most recommended set-ups by xray

There is a third section in the search criteria which is the "Electric touring car search details" here you can filter the set ups further to Carpet or asphalt and/or rubber/foam.

Ahhhh OK I'll look for some T2 setups for last year's ROAR asphalt nationals (my home track) as a starting point

There hasnt really been any major outdoor onroad nation events since the 007 cars have come out. Might be why there is no setups for that 007 euro car yet.
