I think that the competition between matchers has kept prices down. I remember paying $75 for 2400 packs and they weren't even the team level packs. Now you can go to 30 different sites and order Limited Edition Factory Team SHV WC packs for the limited low low price of $54.95. The better drivers are going to replace their packs often anyway. Why not replace them with something better instead of just something newer?

I got one 4-cell pack from EA and ran it the entire IIC. Very nice battery.
I just couldn't drive my 12th scale that week.

question on discharging. I have 2 packs of the shv's and 1 pack of the wc cells. Do I follow same discharging recommendations with the wc as the shv's? I use a spintec battery manager, and I am getting a smart tray. What should I tray them to, and do I use the voltage hold? Thanks.

.90v cutoff per cell, .02 voltage threshold. 6 amp charge, no repeak unless the pack sits for more than ten minutes

I didnt think you should use a spintec battery manager on IB cells or is that not correct??

The Spintec Batman V2 is disigned also for the IB4200 cells. You can adjust cutoff voltage and the number off cells.
