Default They call this a PRO????

I am building a monster stock motor for my dad, he bought a trinity monster stock PRO armature, I take it out of the package and the package, open the armature tubeand the first thing I see is a large scratch on the comm...... then I notice several scuff marks on the comm also!!!

Then I notice one of the wires leading from the comm to the stacks is loose also!!!!!!

Trinity says their pro arms are trued from the factory, so why does this one have a large scratch and scuff marks on it!!! This is quite pathetic, even for Trinity!!!!

You could always return it with a NICE letter explaining the problem. I'm sure Trinity or the retailer you bought it from will replace it.

Geetoo: he he he Amen to that! Thank God for Reedy!

Impact: regardless of my brand preference, i think you should send it back and shouldn't settle for anything less than a replacement!

Yea, I'm gonna talk to my dad and see what he wants to do, unfortunately I think my brother needs this motor for the weekend....

But this makes me wanna tear my new monster apart and check it out, even though it is in my "parking lot toy" which I use to race non-competetively........

I've seen a few with loose wires/windings now. The quality control on these motors is definitely a new low, even by Trinity's standards.

I know what you mean impactplayer, I ordered some "pro" P2K2 arms from my LHS a couple months ago and not one of them was drilled to balance the arm.
