Default I just bought a 414 WRC TC

Managed to get a superb 414 WCR off my M8 with the following spec, what do you guys think?

Spares

50984 TRF414M A parts (plastic bumper/body post etc) £3.00

50881 TA04/TRF414 Urethane bumper £3.00

50994 TRF414/TB EVO3 etc suspension balls £3.00

53463 TRF414/TA04 Low friction belt (Front) £7.00

6244004 Drive belt (short - rear) TRF414M £4.00

53500 Cross-joint for universal shaft £4.00

53502 42mm L/weight swing shafts £8.00

Front + Rear C/F shock towers TRF414M (gen. Tamiya) £12.00

4004019 TRF414M C/F lower deck/chassis £35.00

53499 Wheel axles for univ. shaft £4.00

53499 Wheel axles for univ. shaft £4.00

Black '6-spoke' 2mm off-set wheels + Tamiya belted-slicks and moulded inserts; set of four brand-new £20.00

10 x ali. suspension-blocks for TRF414M - all the block available for adjusting the rear toe-in, rare oppertunity - only one in 'used' condition. £40.00
The car

Now the juicy bit for you Tamiya fans! This spankingly mint, 'ran-once' TRF414M2 has been built to higher spec. than the mighty 414WCR. Included is the box and instructions, which are mint, plus 'un-opened' sticker-set. This 414M has the following:

Front and rear shock towers 'machined' to replicted WCR's,

chassis has been 'milled' under the fr. and rear diffs. (like 415s')

WCR overhead front anti-roll bar set

Full titanium allen-head screw set

Titanium turnbuckles thoughout

Tamiya 'blue sheild' bearing throughout

42mm L/weight blue ali. rear shafts

4mm wide blue ali. clamping wheel hexes

Tamiya blue ali. ball nuts all round inc., 6/5mm ballnuts,5mm ball studs, and roll-bar end - all matching blue and new!

Ali. centre one-way unit including a secondary locking ali.pulley for fixed centre diff.

L/weight front and rear ball diffs.

L/W ali. servo posts + ali. belt tensioner post

Florine coated shock bodies and shafts with blue ali. cap set, blue ali. spring retainer, blue ali. spring adjuster (same as 415msx)

hard suspension arms, rear uprights and front uprights

I think it isn't a WCR (Worlds Replica), it's a normal 414M2 with some options, so I hope you didn't pay a premium price for it.

I have a TRF414 M2 SSG which i use as a project car ( evo 3 suspension mounts fitted right now ) and love it , cracking car just the belts alittle on the tight side. I also have a standard TFR415 which has been good to race with but im really after a TRF415 MR edition right now.

Sounds to me you got a damn good buy there so go out and enjoy racing it.

I too have a TRF414M (check my SIG). What I added was 415 servo mounts, TA04/414WC front swaybar set, TRF SSG chassis deck, TRF Blue lt wt bulkheads F/R, ball diff up front & 415 susp blks. What I do need is the proper setting (# of spacers under the susp blks & inner camber links). Will also add the rear alloy uprights later. If some one can post a PDF format of the 414M WC manual, that would be great!

I currently don't have any pictures of my kits at the moment. But I'll try to get some before the month is over or by early part of next month.

Thanks for your offer. Another RCTech member PM'd me the link to download the PDF file off the Tamiya website.

This link?

http://www.tamiya.com/english/rc/manuals.htm

Thought it might be useful for others as it does all tamiya cars.
