I'm a KO man, and now run the low-profile offering in my XRAY T2, and fit one last night to my Kyosho ZX-5 4wd off-roader as I built it... It's an amazing servo, quality, centering, etc..
I dial down the speed on it, depending on the track.... it's plenty fast enough

I prefer the airtronics 94357 for 1/10 scale Electric and Nitro Sedan. 
For 1/12 scale i use KO's PDS-949 ICS

I had no idea. Always assumed the pros used digitals.

Futaba servos have an amazing reputation. A couple of people have already mentioned the S9550. If you don't need the 9550's low-profile, the S9451 is very, very popular and reliable. Well priced, too.

Just how fast is good? I have gotten the impression at the track that my servo is a little too slow. It's a Hitec HS-965MG .13 at 4.8v.

Just get a cheap servo and wire the positive batter lead to the red servo lead 
If your not on a budget, i have a KO 2343. Its pretty fast and seems very strong, been running it for about 1 and a half years..

For example, if you truely like the feeling that the analog servo gives you, with our ICS line of digital servos you can program the setting to give you an analog feeling.

But i got it because its low profile,as ive know many ppl who have broken servos because there hang over the chassis slightly.
So go with the s9550 or KO PDS-2413 ICS

Would a Futaba S9550 digital servo work with an AM radio like Futaba MJ or Futaba 2PL???
