drivetrain question
still got 05 drivers around?? i got a question for you guys.. i tested my 05 today and everytime i make a turn it makes a sound. i take a look at my front drive shaft and it has a mark from getting hit by the wheel axel. both left and right side...any advice will be appreciated..thank you

i would suggest turning down your dual rate on the radio. it sounds as if the wheel is turning too far.

you can add a few shims . just make sure they dont bind . and also turn down your end point adjustments. so your servo isn't driving too far . try setting your end points to full lock then back them off ... Adjusting your dual rate will adjust the speed of your servo .. start a 100% then dial some out to your preference ....also you can add some o-ring's on the ball studs to take up some slop from your turn buckles ... have fun !!!

U can add AW [anti wear grease] in the cup joint.I try this yesterday and it's good.So quiet car.Hope to useful.

I've run this car a lot. The steering is turning too far and the CVD is chattering. Adjust the endpoints on your radio so it stops the chattering. Plus, it'll stop you from turning the wheels too far and locking the steering. It's a lot like slamming the front brakes before entering a corner. Your car will carry a lot more corner speed and decrease lap times. Good luck.
