New Corally Touring Car At Nurnberg
#76
Wow! That looks just so HORN..... :-P
I am guessing that the price for the "Master" in Australia should be under $AUD800.
Here is a rough BabelFish translation of the text on that page. The word triangle seems to refer to the A-arms. You can use your imagination with the rest!!
On the car (still with the state of prototype) brought back by Constant Paul, one can see in details the S specificities of new the supertourism 1/10° electric of Corally, the Assassin, presented at the Show of Nuremberg 2003 and described in preview on this site in the report on Great Price EFRA 2002 in Le Havre .
Almost all is new and it would not have any common part with its ancestor, C4.1. Filiation with Serpent disparait (shock absorbers, triangles...). The suspension uses arms identical to before and with the back. The triangles are anchored inside the cells. There is no higher triangle, but a rod. The originators thought of the look, because the name Corally is cut out in the carbon fibre frame. A symmetrical turntable higher rigidifies the whole.
On the frame, the electronics and the engine on the left side and the accumulators on the right side, like the TEAM Associated and Yokomo. Seven slots of element on line make it possible to advance or move back the pack.
The transmission of the prototype in photographs offers a transmission similar to that of the Mission of Schumacher (or, if one goes up further in the past, with the ABC Hobby Carrera IV), i.e. a large belt connecting the two differentials and smaller of the crown towards the back differential. It will be noticed that this prototype still uses kingpin supports and rockets of the TC3. The final parts will have a Corally design, but would remain compatible with American.
Two versions will be marketed:
The first, called " Master ", will arrive in April 2003. It will offer an aluminium triangulation and two modes of transmission to the choice during the assembly, a first version similar to that of the Mission of Schumacher and another newer, presenting an enormous crown engine directly on the differential back and a large belt connecting the two differentials before and back. It should be sold with the neighbourhoods of 590 euros.
The second version, called " Pro ", should arrive four months later. It will be more economic (approximately 400 euros) and will have moulded suspensions, and perhaps only one mode of transmission.
With final, an elegant, balanced and looked after, light frame (70g of ballast approximately) and without any doubt powerful that one is in a hurry to see turning!

street price
take the MSRP and divide that in half, then add like 10 to 20% to that
