Ok guys, our local track just got a fresh repave with a totally new type of surface then before and everyone is having to change setups
my setup.
Front
Toe: 1deg out
Ride height: 5mm
Camber: -2
Kick/Anti-dive: 0
Caster: 4deg
Droop: 3mm above RH
Roll center: high
Arm spacing: Middle
Shock position: 2
Steering Rack: 2
Spindle Ackerman: 1
Camber Link: 3
Arms: Long
Front drive: spool
Diff: high
Oil: 35wt
Spring: 17.5
Rear
Toe: 3deg
Ride Height: 5mm
Droop: 3mm above RH
Camber: 2 deg
Anti/Pro squat: 0
Hub: std
Roll center: high
Arm spacing: middle
Shock Position: 2/out
Camber Link: 6b
Diff Height: low
Oil: 35wt
Spring: 12.5
Now what i need is more steering all the way around. running mod the car is just flat out stuck and with a little more steering this thing will be dialed.
Any Ideas as what to try?
what will switching to hole#1 on the steering rack do?
thanks for any help
my setup.

You also might search this thread for one of Larry's setups and try it just as he has it. If you don't use it just how he has it, it won't work right....

I had a couple questions in regards to the Type R. I previously used to have a Phi and am looking to possibly get a Type R or the E4. I want a car with the lipo down the middle.
1. On the Phi, a lot of people were switching to the Tamiya Shocks. Is this type of change done for the Type R by any racers?
2. I noticed that the steering has a dual crank system. Anyone tried to modify this into a single crank system?
Any pros/cons compared to the E4 would be very beneficial as well. I am not worried about part availability since the track that I run at doesnt have a hobby shop.

2. There is no room, the battery is too close to the servo.
3. Don't know anyone with an E4, can't say

schumacher makes the cs-27 takeoffs, but you can get the premounted jaco rubberz, muchmore sweeps, and rp-30's if i remember correctly.
