I'm going to try using the sway bars for the first time in a couple of weeks and I was just wondering what to expect when I put them on also what size bar should I start with?
any suggestions

The size of the track is 90 x 40. I will be running an Orion 3200 lipo and LRP 17.5 brushless motor.

I started w/ .040 front and rear, it kept my car from transferring weight to the outside wheels too quickly and smoothed out the steering response of the car. I lost just a weee bit of turn in at higher speeds but gained it at lower speeds, at least that is what it felt like to me .

Did you try moving your rear camber links? If so try reducing rear droop, or move rear shocks toward the center of the car.

The Roll bars i used to calm the car down through the corners not have it snap around as much (i tend to drive w/ my controller lock to lock on smaller tracks).

BTW i didn't use roll bars until Schreffler suggested that i give it a try . I am so used to how roll bars work on other cars i never thought to put them on the type-R now i won't run w/o them .

Can you post your setup?

Anyone using the JR z9100S servo? I'm thinking about getting one for my mod car and was curious if there are any fitment issues or if i should go w/ a low profile servo.

It fits fine. I had a borrowed one in mine and it worked and fit great.

Whats the difference between the JR front link and a normal one?

I bought my car secondhand and it had the normal style link fitted and as I haven't had any issues I have changed it back. I assume its to do with camber gain??

Thanks

I have noticed that the normal link creates more steering in the middle of the corner and off the corner with rubber tires. I won't go back to the JR link til foam season. I noticed that most of the setups out there have a normal link also. It does increase the camber gain on the tire in the corner, thus creating a bit more side bite and steering.

I personally run the JR link with rubber and regular with foam. So I guess I am kind of backwards from everyone here. I like the JR Link with rubber tires. Standard link was way too much steering for me.
