Does that affect the drive cup? I'm looking to take out steering the tail is a bit too loose in a high speed sweeper, would you suggest this short/long setup for that scenario

i can try it....but man i was talking with the guy who put it in his car and he said it was hard as you know what to drive.....lol
im running on a medium bite carpet track with rubber tires.
i was told by a good friend who is very knowledgeable to go with the asphalt set-up in the book...which requires the spool.

I personally did not like the book setup but maybe it will work for you.

Asphalt setup but with a oneway, not a spool. You will just have to get used to the way it drives with one. You have to brake before the corner, not going into it since there is no front brake at all.

so you recremend me to try the book set-up for asphalt but with the one-way huh?
i can go that i guess...will have to see how it works.

You can try it, I am not necessarily recommending it for I did not like it, but yes, use the oneway on carpet with rubber. It makes the car more consistant imo. I use a spool outdoors and tried it on carpet but the one way feels better.
