About the only thing I added to my car was the PRS adapter so I could run "normal" spur gears. The yellow Losi gears don't do it for me.

I see there are people talking about new arms. I want to know is this the new arm for type R? Or just for JRXS?

LOSA9739A Front Suspension Arms - Graphite (JRX-S) 10.99

LOSA9861A Rear Suspension Arms - Graphite (JRX-S) 10.99

those are the revised arms for the Jrxs... not for the type R

I don't know if I'd call it a hopup, though, as it's really just a matter of preference. I'm sure the Losi gears are fine, but I find them to be kind of ugly, and I've already got a collection of PRS pinions, so I figured I'd go with their spurs as well to make sure things match as closely as possible.

Okay, I know it's been mentioned before, but I'm still not clear. Are the "improved" arms for the Type-R the same part number as those that came with the kit, or did they give them a new part number to avoid confusion. If so, what are the numbers, front and rear. I'd like to order some, but I want to make sure I don't get any more of the old arms.

Also, where can I sign up for Losi's super secret weighted LiPo tray? :-)

Part numbers are the same A1217, A1218 but the new "batch" is more reliable, speedtech just got a whole bunch in stock

are you going to have to file and glue the crap out of it like the CF nimh tray?

i was really hoping that thing would be pre-prepped so it doesn't cut into the cells. sharp corners really blow. i spent the $15 for one, but it turns out the plastic tray holds the cells in like a billion times better, so i went back to that.

My LiPo's roll with the hard cases coz I ain't cheap. They can rest on razor blades for all I care, as long as the tray is about 5oz! :-D

That sucks about the CF tray, but does anybody other than Corally prepare the slots for you? And even those need some filing. That CF tray sounds like a way to make a few bucks on the extra material from the battery slot that's cut into the chassis.

I thought they machine a rear shock tower from the battery opening?
