Is the car too different to take a guess at what spares we should stock? I'm guessing front and rear arms are a given, but beyond that, I'm a bit of a newb with this car. Do we need to wait and see, or can we compile the ultimate spare parts list now?

Probably just the normal stuff- arms, knuckles, castor blocks, an extra rear hub and ballcups wouln't hurt....id recommend to get some extra caster block bushing sometimes they get lost when you break something up front....and its real annoying to walk the track for them.

Options....

P-Dub bumper
PRS Gear adapter (personal preference)
3 Novak fans

Spares....

Knuckles
C-Hubs
Arms
Hub Carriers
New Style LCD/CVD rebuild kits
Inner and Outer Hinge Pins (with the aluminum mounts now I think spare pins would be wise)

Anybody else with suggestions?

LOL I have only had to replace two hinge pins in two years. One was BEFORE we had the Numan set-up, and the other was caused by a terroristic corner dot who seemed to not like me!

Dealer section on Horizon says otherwise. My friend that has his own shop has been watchin the release date from that. Speedtech may being optimistic since there are so many on backorder they may feel that is when the can get them to their customers.

Merry Chrismas everyone!

Anyone know of any online shops still taking pre orders for this car. I need one, so fed up of touring car copies.

Will the PRS adapter definitely work on the new car?

As far as tuning parts go, any suggestions on what someone should buy to easily duplicate the popular foam/carpet setups? I realize there aren't many of those out there yet, but presumably the tuning on this car is similar to the last one. Do I need to order shock springs individually? How about caster blocks, rear toe, etc.

I don't suppose a parts list for the new car is available? I'd like to piece together part numbers for the spares (and hopups) I plan on ordering.

Also, will the P-Dub bumper for the JRX-S work with the Type-R? Where's a good place to pick that up? Has anybody tried using it in combination with a kydex under bumper, like what the Corally guys use?

Learning about a new car is almost scary enough to make you stick with an older car. :-)

Spring wise you will want to have 30,25,20,17.5, 15, and 12 on hand and your set for just about everything. 25 / 17or15 should work for just about any track
