Does anyone still have arms for the JRXS FMC? I gave one of my old sleds to a little buddy of mine- hoping to get him into racing- unfortunately, I also gave all of the parts i had for that car to Kropy at the 07' nats..

Needs a front arm (and spares im sure).. hate to think this is a pile of parts that will never run again..

Not only does Horizon have them in stock, but it's not terribly difficult to mount the Type-R arms on the old FMC/MMC/PRO/funnylookingstubbyarmedcar. I still run mine in VTA and when I ran out of short arms.....I used a Makita drill and a Type-R chassis to drill two holes per arm to accommodate the Type-R inner hingepin blocks. I didn't drill the third hole because it overlapped with the existing holes. That's it, ten minute mod, arms for life, happy kid again.

Yes, it makes the rear wider than the front. Had those hexes on from when I bought it used back in '08, and I never tried anything narrower in the rear as I never really felt the need to. I dunno, maybe the wider rear helps stabilize the Losi's slightly heavy ass.

I also actually ran the setup with the 0 degree rear block for quite a while until recently because of the high track temps, and I probably will go back to the zero rear block when the temps go back down later this year.

And, believe it or not, i'm also using some of my 8+yr old Sorex tires tires from my nitro rubber sedan days. Just need 3-4 laps to scrub off the old rubber to reveal the suprisingly still great rubber underneath.

I think I need to mention that I ran the setup in the "timing enhanced " 17.5 class, and I pretty confident this setup will handle Mod. The track I run on is a tight, slightly dusty, untreated sealed asphalt surface.

You are doing it wrong then. Use the "Parts by vehicle" option. They have tons. I just ordered from there.

I very seldom stray from this setup. The latest change I did was change the rear inner camber link position from the #5 hole up to the #2 hole.
Sorry but I need to make a correction.

I used a 41 tooth overdrive spool front pulley instead of the listed 42 tooth.

Not that my simple paint jobs are anything special but I quite like how this body turned out when it was all stickered up. So I though I would post a pic before I destroy it! Hopefully an A final winning design for this weekends big race.

Ok, I need a couple more lipos since i'll be running two cars(17.5 "RC"GT & Open). I already have two Fantom 5000 40C and one Thunder Power 5000 40C. I really want to buy more TP manufactured packs like the Fantom and Xcelorin because of their performance and reliability, but I was wondering what else fits. I was kinda eyeing the Intellec IP's with the wire coming out the side.

So anyway, what 5000mah+ / 40C+ packs are you using and what packs do you know fits without dremeling?

Thanks in advance!

I have been told that the new IP's have a new chemical in them that improves their voltage, but it makes them more unstable. How long do you want them for?
