From my understanding it will be out a few weeks before the Indoor Champs in Cleveland, So my guess is mid November.

What parts will be compatible with the old car?

Is there a parts list available yet so I can have the shop order parts as well?

Will the PRS gear adapter work with the new car?

Default Losi did one heck of a job making this car look cool...

and I'm sure it will perform. It's growing on me, but I just can't get my GTB to fit and feel good about it. lol...Anyway nice job Losi and I'm glad to see that you guys changed the rear stand offs so that they are vertical.

Shocks, springs, f/r hub carriers, castor blocks, f/r arms(the type-r will come with the new longer arms f/r, but you have the option of being able to use short arms in the front or rear too.) That is most of the stuff that is compatible.

I don't think that there is a parts lists available yet.

Yes, the PRS gear adapter will work

I just got back from the iHobby show...The show was underwhelming but the Type R is the main reason I went and I wasn't disappointed. The car looked beautiful.

Default It would be cool if Losi would make a upgrade chassis that

had the sides angled up so they could make the chassis wider yet keep it from rubbing on the ground much like the old HPI Pro3. Maybe an after market company would do this so I can get my GTB on it and still keep the CG as low as possible.

Thanks for the info. Are the bearings the same between the two cars?

The steering bearings are different. The car now uses 4x7mm instead of the 5x8mm bearing. The inner diff bearings are also different. Other than that the rest of the car is the same.

the pro3 had a molded tub chassis making things like angles sides easy to design in. the jrxsr has a carbon fiber plate which likely is purchased as pre-made sheets and cut to shape. having angled sides on such a part would increase the price substantially as it would have to be molded CF.

besides, didn't todd show some pics of a GTB mounted in his car?
