Jaco Greens are a softer compound then the Blues so the grip at your track should be the deciding factor (softer rubber=more traction, harder rubber=less traction). Most rubber carpet setups mirror an asphalt setup ie: one way or spool, diff heights, spring tensions, and droop. You may have to play with shock positions, camber gains and roll centers differently than on asphalt. I don't run mod so can't help with the gearing too much.

Good Luck,

I'd like to anounce that I have come to an agreement with Syrocket Racing(www.skyrocketbatteries.com) to supply the US market. I believe Skyrocket Racing will do a great job supporting our products and have helped us in bringing our Layshaft to the US at the best possible value.

The Layshaft will have a worldwide price of US$29.00 plus postage. I expect the first shipment of Layshafts to be available in the US in no more than 7 days. Believe me I am doing everything I can to make them available as soon as possible.

We are also constucting our own website for orders to the rest of the world. Check us out at www.FlyingFoxRC.com

I will let you know as soon as we and Skyrocket can start taking orders.

Thanks again for the interest shown. It really mean a lot.

Would someone mind giving me a starting point for a setup outdoor asphalt. I would greatly appreciate it. The car is amazing and so easy to build.
Thanks,
George

I know it's a little late in the game but I thought I'd share some pics of my new type R. I did not include any under the hood pics as I'm sure by now everyone knows what to expect there I'm new to on-road (experienced in off-road-Losi 8ight electric conversion) and this is my first. The car is brilliant and was easy to build. It is also a unique design and comes LiPO ready right from the box-nice touches and helped my descision. I run on ad-hoc parking lot tracks against X-Ray and Kyosho nitros with high-end racing modified mills and hang with them with ease. Under the hood I run a Novak GTB, 3.5r brushless, TrueRC 5000 LiPO, Nomadio reciever and all 3 fans on the can. I am having problems keeping the rear from stepping out under acceleration after hard turns. To combat this I installed a 41 tooth overdrive pulley up front and now the rear comes around on me during hard breaking turns or hard off power turns. Any ideas for a fix in this area would be welcome. My next step is to try a different set-up like Schreff's Jackson set-up which is very divergent from where I'm set now.

I posted this last night but this morning my post was gone.

Does anybody know if any of the new 35C or 40C lipo's will fit the JRXS-R?

I know the Yun Tong (Reedy) 35c Lipo's fit. I've heard of people using Thunder Power 5000 40C's but that involves some dremel work.
