Get a dremel with a cutting disk and cut some "lines" into one end of the spring. Make it easy and cut 1 line for a 10.5lbs, 2 lines for a 12.5lbs, 3 lines for a 15lbs etc... It would only take a second to cut and you would then be able to remove the tags and keep your setup to your self if you want.

Just getting back into the hobby after a long layoff..... When I was racing before (Moses was playing T-ball and dirt had just been invented) companies used a small dot of paint to color code spring rates much like Associated does today only they did not color the whole spring.

I was rebuilding the diff and noticed that no matter how tight I set the diff it still slips. I figured out that the suspect part is the plastic diff drive (LOSA3318). With all that aluminum it still acts like a plastic diff because of that one part. It can't stand up to the clamping force exerted by the screw.
Does anybody know of an aluminum replacement part ?
Thanks.

Interesting, I was wondering about that. Why would they design the diff to slip a little when everyone else has 'd' rings on both halves ? I would think the mod foam guys would
hate that.
Thanks.

Hi ya, i've taken a couple of pics for you, (sorry about the quality)
Being different colour they are quite easy to see, even on the car.
I got them from someone i worked with ages ago.
All they are, are little markers that elecricians put on to cables to identify them. They are similar to these,

have a look around electrical wholesalers and the like.

C Hubs
I have been running Xray touring cars for a while. Decided to try a Losi type R. Wow, the C hubs seem to be made of peanut brittle. Just brush the wall a little and presto, C Hub in 2 pieces now....
Anyone else notice this ?
