How often are you guys replacing the out drives on the type r?
mine seem to have a lot of slop.
Is there a fix so they don’t wear out so fast or do I have to just replace then every now and then?

I don't worry about that anymore though as I'm running the TP5000 40C.
Thanks.. I very carefully peeled the top of the case upward a few mm's and then routed a hole so I can rotate the power leads so that they are aligned vertically, instead of horizontally. I used extreme caution when I did cutting real close to a cell.. I was outdoors and prepared to through it like a grenade

I'll have to check out the TP5000.

Are you running a spool? if not, mine don't wear out that fast, I find the front axle will get play before the outdrive.

time to rebuild. i found that the cylinders in the axle joints get sloppy. They will also make the pins tight and not allow the LVD to work properly. Make sure eveythink moves smoothly when you rebuild.

Im looking for a front oneway kit for the JRXS type R everywhere in the world is apparently sold out.

I would be willing to pay 45$ shipped via PayPal just for the oneway. Please let me know; its ruining my race season not having it

They are not the same, the Jrxs oneway bearing is backwards for use in the type r. It will not work.

I do mine on my stock R about once a season, and the ones on the 10.5 about every 6-8 months. It depends a lot of the power and the driving habits too. I run on carpet, so its pretty clean. On tarmac I'd be more inclined to do them every month or so to clean out te dirt.
