Wow... to have a track so big that the designers only see a need to use 80% of it.

Just curious here... when you got that spool pulley, could you see the holes for the diff balls in it? If you could, the pads were missing. If you couldn't it's because the pads were snapped into the holes. It's easy to think it's all just one piece of plastic with the pads in place... it fooled me when I got my first one.

By the way, if you try to take the pads out, they're likely to break... they're very brittle. Ask me how I found out...

Top 3 cars at the Region 1 regionals were all JRXS Type R's. 1st Haynes, 2nd Schreff and Myself in 3rd. All 3 cars were setup quite different as well.

just run 2 fans on stock holes of rr bulkheads, no need to run extra heatsink, actually I am going to try just 1 fan on right side bulkhead next time i m at 360 and measure diffrence if any

It's more a function of the driver stand, if you bring the cars too close to it, there are blind spots depending on where you stand.

Does anyone have a good 13.5 Rubber tire setup? Also what is the general consensus on electronics location? I have my ESC on the right side, and my rec and motor on left side. Is that ok?

Here's Matt Howard's setup from the Nats this past year where he finished top 5 in 13.5 rubber:

front
20lb spring, 57 pistons, 45 wt oil, middle hole on tower
.05 sway bar
high roll center blocks
regular castor link, used inside upper hole on shock tower and short ballend on castor block
arms spaced in the middle
4 deg castor
inside hole used on the steering link (makes the steering turnbuckles longer)
5 1/2 mm ride height, 1.5mm droop
diff high in front and back
regular link in front, AKA not the JR link
nothing above the shock bladders

rear
12.5lb spring, 55 piston, 35 wt oil, middle hole on tower
arms spaced to the rear
3 deg toe in
low roll center blocks
inside hole on hub for camber link, inside middle on tower
5 1/2mm ride height, 2mm droop

PF Mazda 6 used

That was at the HobbyPlex back in March, so I don't think it was the latest generation CRC carpet but maybe Matt or Alex can post something to confirm?

That setup would push off the track for me and also probably be loose coming out of the corner. Here are changes I would make to what is above.

50 wt 56 pistons front shocks
17.5 rear spring, 56 piston 40 wt. Half rebound

Rear camber link outside hole on hub inside middle on shocktower. With 2.5mm spacer under ballstud on hub. Low rear diff.
