    Thanks for the fast reponse. I appreciate it. I will be buying this and probably one more Lipo to race my Type R. I am almost finished with the build. Are there any other lipos that fit without modification so I can put them on my list.

With regards to altering the rubber car, usually just changing front drive (1-way or spool), front hex, the ackerman hole on the steering rack, or the number of shims on the rear camber link is all it takes to make the car work on whatever track i've run at.
    As you might be aware Mike the Coliseum is unique, and running 17.5 no matter what changes I make regarding linkage and camber the car is still too stuck! Reducing the rear toe has been my solution to free up the back end in this respect and only at the "C"
  • Casey, yea i could see that working there possibly, i only ran a type r there once, and i had 3 of toe...maybe less would have helped out. This summer i ran on the indoor paved track at 360 up here, similar condition but a bit less grip then the c, my carpet setup was awesome with just going to a high rear diff and narrow front hexes...i would think its worth a try there also.

  • I thought they quick production on the Orion 3200 and are now making the 3400... which I believe has the same dimensions as the 3200. I am about to buy the orions but I have not gotten confirmation that it fits the Type r without modification.

  • I bought the PRS Spur adapter and the center shaft binds like crazy. I even sanded down the layshaft spacers, but it still binds. What am I doing wrong here?

    Where does it bind, can you take a photo? Do you have the stock screws in it?

    I had to sand down the inside of the passenger side pulley and also shave down the pegs that key into the aluminum adapter. The pegs are thicker than the adapter flange and when you tighten the gear it spreads the two apart. It's kind of hard to explain, but pretty easy to see when you are looking at the assembly. I would suggest taking the belts off the car and keep shaving material off until the layshaft spins freely. If you are fighting to get the e-clip on the layshaft you have not taken enough material off.
  • Quality must not be as good on the newer ones from the original ones. I remember having to sand down the key pin but other then that mine work fine.
  • I will sand down the pulley, the pegs and also the inside of the adapter on the pin side tonight and I will update. I will also sand down the screws too and they are too long as well. Thanks guys for the ideas and I will post again. And yes, it is one of the new ones as everyone at the track that has the old ones do not have any problems.
